BIO:

I have over 20 years of experience with nonprofit management and business operations. In addition to my work with 33Vincent, I am Founder/Principal of Do Better Consulting, where I help small and start-up organizations do better at doing good through effective operations and fundraising strategy development.

Previously, I have held senior development positions at Denver Urban Gardens, National Employment Law Project, and Ubuntu Pathways (f/k/a Ubuntu Education Fund).

I am an active volunteer with a number of local nonprofits, including Casa de Paz, Colorado Doula Project, Cobalt, Metro Caring, and Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains. I am also a member of multiple local professional associations, including Consultants for Good and Better Together: Association of Independent Workers.

Currently, I live in Denver with my dog and multiple tomato plants.

EXPERIENCE:

As a consultant for the past several years, I have worked with a number of small mission-focused organizations improve their operations, task management, and systems. I have worked extensively with board of directors and leadership teams, which allows me to anticipate common questions and challenges.

HOW I COMMUNICATE:

I prefer to ask a lot of questions about the context of tasks up-front. That way, I can ensure that I am approaching tasks with long-term outcomes in mind.
