BIO:

My career experience ranges from owning two different client-driven businesses in three different states and four cities, teaching full-time on a college faculty, and managing a multi-million dollar horse competition and training facility.

I have accrued experience in business, team leadership, and event management and have utilized my MBA by successfully managing my own business details. With brief training, I am able to promptly understand computer software with which I may not have had extensive experience. Additionally, I have spent years interacting with clients to solve their concerns and exceed expectations through clear and prompt communication, both in person and virtually. I have a strong ability to flex with the needs of the business or serve in multi-capacity roles.

EXPERIENCE:

While managing a multi-million dollar horse facility, I was an ad hoc EA for the facility owner in all but job title. I also spent five years managing multi-day, nationally-recognized horse competitions. Additionally, while operating my own businesses, I was responsible for management of all details. I am comfortable and confident in detail-oriented, logistically complex situations and thrive therein.

HOW I COMMUNICATE:

For more in depth projects, I prefer written communication so that I can refer to it as needed. I tend to ask quite a few questions at the beginning of a new project or situation in order to have the necessary clarity for the end goal/process.

HOW I PREFER TO RECEIVE FEEDBACK:

I value open feedback that is given before something becomes a significant issue. I do not have a strong preference as to whether it is given verbally, in written form, etc. My priority is that I want to know what needs to be addressed and how I can fix any potential issues.

WORKING STYLE:

I like as many relevant details as possible in order to get the big picture for what needs to be accomplished. I am entirely comfortable asking questions, but also able to develop answers for myself (especially when no clear answers are pre-existing). Once I understand the big picture, I am comfortable autonomously working without much oversight.
